Marketing Copywriter - Essex - £ 20k - 25k plus excellent benefits
If you want to be part of a marketing team, tasked with making a measurable contribution to company success, then this is the opportunity you have been waiting for. Our client in the Essex area is seeking a talented individual to take up the position of Copywriter within a lively marketing department of nine people. You will be writing copy for the full range of marketing activity; direct campaigns, brochures, press releases, magazine articles, web copy, and exhibition literature, to name a few. As well as your proven ability to write succinct, accurate copy, you will also have the drive and desire to contribute to team objectives. You must be well-organised, able to work in a team environment, and a pragmatist whose main focus is on getting things done. Our client operates in a complex business to business market, where the right targeting of campaign activity can make all the difference to our success. We continually hone the accuracy of our targeting, and you will play a key role in this evolution.
You will have at least 3 years experience writing marketing copy within a business to business environment. This may have been gained via time with an agency, or within business. Able to prioritise and organise your workload so as to deliver to deadlines. Ideally experienced in writing within an IT software or solutions environment. You will have a portfolio to demonstrate your experience and abilities. Previous marketing copywriter experience within a team environment is essential along with written indepth literature (i.e. B2B sales*marketing brochures).
